It's hard to believe it's that time of year again .... time to start planning for the holiday season. Every year, Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners makes the season a little brighter for families in our community by hosting a gift-giving celebration in December. We are looking for sponsors to make this possible. Whether you like to shop and wrap or simply make a financial contribution, please consider helping families in our community this year. IOCP Seeking Gift Program Volunteers Oct. 9 & 11
Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners is in need of adult volunteers to help register clients in our Holiday Gift Program on Thursday, Oct. 9 and Saturday, Oct. 11. No experience is necessary, and training is provided. For more information, visit www.iocp.org/holiday-gift-program.

Set in Mississippi in 1947. Two soldiers, one from a landowner family and the other from that family's sharecropper family, return to find old prejudices prevail. Both families tell their version of an event and draw the reader into the building drama.
